2010 Global Best Awards - Call for Entries

Supported by The Conference Board of Canada and the International Partnership Network

A bi-annual event, the Global Best Awards celebrate outstanding and effective business, education and community organization partnerships that have a significant impact on the communities in which they operate.

Four winners will be selected internationally and honoured at the 10th International Education Business Partnership Conference: Making a Difference iun Today's Global Economy...The Power of Partnership!!, April 25-28, 2010 (Toronto, Canada).

One winner will be selected for each of the four categories:

  • Building Learning Communities
  • Developing Skills of the Future Workforce
  • Promoting Health and Well-Being of Children and Youth in Education
  • The Role of Education in Meeting Global Challenges

2010 Global Best Call for Entries

The competition is now closed. Winners will be contacted mid-February 2010.

Global Best Awards 

The Global Best Awards celebrate outstanding and effective business, education, and community organization partnerships that have a significant impact on the communities in which they operate. The 2008 Global Best Award winners were honoured at the 9th International Education Business Partnership Conference, September 1-5, 2008, in Helsinki, Finland and Stockholm, Sweden.

Sharing the Flame: Recognizing Excellence in Learning

Supported by the Canadian Council on Learning (CCL), this program recognizes and highlights some of Canada's most effective practices in each of CCL's five learning themes—Aboriginal learning, adult learning, early childhood learning, health and learning, and work and learning.
