The Annual Global Business-Education-Community Partnerships SurveyEach year the Conference Board of Canada, in collaboration with The International Partnership Network (IPN), undertakes a major international research initiative that sheds light on the issues, trends, innovations and obstacles that business-education-community partnerships face—both today and in the future.
Business-Education-Community Partnerships
Business-Education-Community Partnerships mean different things to different people, communities and countries: they come in a variety of shapes and sizes; however, at their fundamental level they all share a number of commonalities.
They are mutually beneficial relationships between employers, educators and/or other stakeholders as partners—including, for example, communities, labour, or governments—designed to enhance learning for students and other learners.
They are co-operative relationships in which partners share values, objectives, human, material or financial resources, roles and responsibilities in order to achieve desired learning outcomes.
